How it works & preset sources
Speed = cadence × (front teeth ÷ rear teeth) × wheel circumference. We convert metres per minute to km/h and mph. This is the road speed that matches your pedaling, assuming no wheel slip. It does not estimate whether you have the power to sustain it against wind, hills or rolling resistance.
700C estimates use π × (622 + 2 × tire width) in millimetres. Actual tire dimensions vary with rim, pressure and load. Use a measured rollout for the best match: mark the tire, roll one full wheel revolution under rider load, and measure the distance.
Common road and XPLR presets verified September 2026. They are not a complete component catalog or a compatibility checker. Manual mode supports other brands, 1× setups and cassettes with 1–14 sprockets.
